Wedding Music

One of the most memorable aspects of your wedding ceremony will be the music.

Imagine as your guests arriving, with the sound of bagpipes leading them to the ceremony, whilst inside a band play as they head to their seats. Then when the time comes, you head down the aisle, the piper playing behind you as you make your way to the front. Then leave to the sounds of traditional Scottish music as you make your way towards the wedding car. The perfect ceremony!

If you have never booked musicians before, it can seem a daunting task. The best place to begin is deciding what type of music will suit the ceremony best. You may wish to go for a piper to be present at the ceremony, a symbol of the traditional Scottish wedding. During the ceremony itself you may wish for a band or organ to play. Or for something extravagant why not hire a string quartet?

Then it's time to decide on the night's entertainment. The most traditional form of music can be provided by a ceilidh band. A caller will lead you through each dance which will amuse Scottish and non-Scottish guests alike! From 'The Gay Gordons' to 'Strip the Willow', even the least experienced dancers will enjoy the experience!
